Attrition Analysis

Keystone conducted a survey of former members of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® in an effort to better understand the reasons behind a drop in membership and to identify areas in need of improvement. The goals of the study were to: gain insight into the reasons for members leaving the industry; determine the reasons why members are leaving the Realtor® family but remaining in the industry; and to compare and contrast the needs, attitudes and behaviors of these lapsed members to the findings of a membership study. Keystone also analyzed existing member records and used exit survey results to determine the top five percent of members that have the most probability of leaving the organization. One year later, Keystone determined that the attrition model that was developed was a strong indicator of actual attrition over the following 13 months.
